Yes, I've got the hotline number in my phone and keeping an eye out here at Lake Claremont. No sign of it yet, but of course birds can show up anywhere. A lot of swans are here.

I'm worried about my chickens. We attempted to wild bird proof our chicken run with we had a local outbreak of H7N8, but all we ended up doing was improving the problem solving skills of our resident sparrows and blackbirds.

I guess dressing them as penguins in a reverse Feathers McGraw and lining them up at Phillip Island for vaccination is off the table.
