It is generally very difficult to make a decision. Works have consistently been of a high quality.

General guidelines: Works that comprise a complete story will have an advantage as will good spelling and grammar. Stories of a sf or fantasy nature are enjoyed, but this does not preclude other genres. Humorous stories may have an advantage. Please keep it non explicit - this is a G rated journal.

Good luck!
