Rob has posted some photos of the solar dehydrator in action over here in lympago, if you're interested.

Up at 5.00am this morning, bright (huh) and early for the ride into Perth for the Bike to Work Breakfast. It was dark. Really dark, with stars and everything!

Some of us were lucky enough to see a very greeny blue white meteor / ite? skim just over the buildings, break into two or three bits, and dissappear in the direction of Rottnest. Very bright, lasted a couple of seconds.

Breakfast was great! Mushrooms and eggs and muffins and coffee and orange juice and fruit and yoghurt and lots of stuff! Very nice! Saw Steveg on our way out heading towards his breakfast, hope he enjoyed it as much as we did.

I don't think there was as much attendance this year, perhaps the dark put people off...

Anyrate the Historical Cyclists group had a neat display, it was really cool. And we might win prizes so I'm crossing fingers...Rob got a cool Cycle Instead promo pack last year!

Just been to see Dad, who's grumpy but not too bad and  now I'm contemplating second breakfast.

I'll post some photos if/when I get Rob's camera to talk to the computer. Of the BTWB, not second breakfast.

It was so windy.

Rob met me at the hospital cafe at 6.00pm and we had dinner there, and then we caught the train and biked home from the station. So windy and cold, not a pleasant night to be out.

This morning I've been doing a bit of correspondence, and a fair bit more on my drawing of this enchanted forest scene with the featherlizards. That's what I'll continue to do today. Hope the wind drops for when I go meet Rob by bike today.

Rain I like. Wind, I like to avoid.

Hmm. Time for lunch, and then back to drawing.
